Always trim first, that way everything gets chopped up by the mower and it doesn’t look like shit laying on top of fresh cut lawn.

I typically trim first so that i dont have to use my blower for cleanup. Just use the mower to blow everything clean.

100% disagree. We like to trim 1st so that the baggers suck up the long clippings the trimmers leave. Also , I'd be very careful telling people to remove the safety guard #legal liability

I've been cutting for 22 years if I trim first bring my corners out I can blow off 95% of the grass with the mower less blowing faster cuts

I trim first then make a pass with my push mower that is set so it tapers down to my landscaping so I get rid of the trimmings I mow at 4”. Got tik tons of my yard. Looks ok for a wanna be 🤷🏼♂️😂
