@ramsey.solutions: Marriages are either growing together or growing apart. You’re married—you’re not roommates. Money shouldn’t just be a “me” thing, but it should be a “we” thing, so make your budget TOGETHER!👏 #marriage #marriagegoals #marriagetips #relationshipadvice #relationshipproblems #moneytips #moneymindset #budget #budgeting

Been married 21 years, dated in HS. We have 1 joint checking where all money goes to. We then each have an individual checking and we get the same $ each week for our own fun. Works great.

For people getting discouraged. It can be done. My husband and I combined & we are so much better from it. We now talk monthly about finances and make goals for the year.

My husband was married for 9 yrs, bought a house prior. Made more than he does now but was always in the negative. We’ve been together six years and we bought another house, truck, car, and camper.

We combined after marriage and I realized 5 years later that I will be flat broke the rest of my life if we continued that way. We separated our finances. He needs to learn financial literacy.

If you and your spouse don’t agree on finances, that’s a huge red flag it’s not going to work out. Finances are one of the biggest factors in marriage.

I ain't combining money with anyone ever! You can never truly know another human being no matter how much you think you do. Trust no one, keep your finance under your own wing.
