I think that's a very fair point, TOTK is just coat tailing from the BOTW. doesn't make it bad, but it's just more of the same.

I have tried Zelda on the switch. am I the only one who finds it bad and boring? like an empty world. same enemies, running around with just running for ages, boring riddles.

Odyssey is an 8.5. it's great, had a blast, but it wasn't mind blowing or game changing for me. ToTK is unlike anything I've played, takes BOTW (my previous favorite of all time) and makes it better

ToTK and BoTW weren’t great imo. I appreciate the open world, but equipment was frustrating as well as the number of “dungeons”

"Tears of the Kingdom did not hit nearly as hard". So you could easily say Odyssey didn't hit as hard because all other 3D Mario games exist. Having a game be way better but similar shouldn't be bad.
