but I served in a small reconnaissance detachment in Alaska national guard we always carried a lineman's phone with us and you need to climb a pole and tap in or just go to a green phone box

Was a Marine spouse. I’d get a text with a pinned location and an order for 30 Mc chickens and 30 cheeseburgers. Only got caught on the tank trails once on my way out of the field 😂

We actually got several warnings at LeJeune to not drive 5-tons through the Burger King drive thru. They never said anything about Hummers. Later they said no military vehicles :)
