@bdccarpenter: Jennifer Aniston’s bikini body. A follow sent me a very concerned message about this video where Jennifer Aniston was talking about she keeps her “bikini body even in her 50s”. Some of the things she was saying in the video were questionable, and some were flat out nonsense. At the end of the video, there was a sales pitch. However, after doing a little digging, this video was not actually Jennifer Aniston at all. Someone has saved little video snippets from an interview she did with other celebrities, and used AI technology to mimic her voice. You can see the body language matches. During this snippet of the video she was actually talking about her acting, nothing to do with her “bikini body” at all. Once again, this is another warning shot showing us what AI is capable of. It is going to get harder and harder to work out which videos are genuine and which are not. Also, this video has over 700,000 views, and given I have reported it without it being taken down, it just goes to show that social media platforms are not yet equipped to keep you safe during this next phase of AI evolution. So, please be extra diligent about consuming content on social media. And perhaps more importantly, if you are tech-savvy, perhaps share this so less tech-savvy people will also learn to be more cautious.
