personally I think adding Sriracha and hoison ruin it. put it on the side and dip your meat in it is the way to go.

Try the Cambodian version of pho, kathiew, we put hoisin, Sriracha, chiles, and the whole kitchen sink. This is before even tasting the broth. We customized it to our tastes and likings. No judgment.

It don’t matter if the broth is fire. I’m still adding both plus lime, side of pickled onions and a dipping sauce of hoisin, siricha and lime. That’s how Vietnamese foods were meant to be eaten.

Hoisin and sriracha is southern style. Plain is northern. It’s basically two different styles so there’s really no right or wrong way of eating it

If the broth is trash, all goes. If the broth is good, then everything on the side for dipping. The sauce/vinegar onions is suppose enhance the dish ect. Don't @ me lol

I like the pho from a place near me in Kansas City. You get the broth then everything else is on the side so you mix it up how you like it. 😎 It taste a little bitter to me so I sweeten it up a bit

there's nothing to adding sauces to what you eat. of course taste the broth first but that's like asking if you eat sauce with fries.
