the shop I go to as well as my brother's wouldn't tattoo my dad because he is on blood thinners that is it.

she had every right to kick him out for not disclosing HIV. By not disclosing they denied the tattoo artist the to take extra precautions to be able to tattoo some with HIV

I disagree. accidents happen, even in the OR, we can get cut during surgery. a tattoo artist CAN get stuck by the needle. they SHOULD be aware so they can get tested. a disability and a SPREADABLE disease are two very different things.

No hate to the tattoo artist but that person fucked up bad! Plus it shouldn’t be a problem since tattoo artists supposed to know proper sanitation procedures to make sure all their customers are safe.

Idk why the tattoo artist could just take extra precautions. Masks, double gloves, glasses. And then clean to the same standard that you do behind clients.. like it’s not hard. Be HUMAN

I think the client should disclose that they have HIV so the tattoo artist would be extra carful while tattooing them ,but not discriminating and kicking them out
