my daughter ended up in the hospital for 5 days last year with the flu. we have our shots scheduled this year. I'm not messing with that again.

I work at one of the children's hospital as a cna. I have only ever seen a few kids die from any respiratory illness because their health was already compromised from a different health diagnosis.

My son got that flu 💉 from birth to 5 yr old and every year he got so sick with the flu 🤨 would have to go to the ER than I decided no more flu 💉 and he’s 16 now and never again got the flu🤷🏻♀️

i’ve gotten my kids the flu vaccine like 1-2 times and they ended up getting the flu 2- 3 times back to back so i stopped giving it to them and they haven’t got it in a couple years so i have mixed

i believe a huge part though is negligence. “tylenol” and let them cry is a huge across the board issue. also nutrition. it’s their unsupportive immune systems. bigger issues here.

That’s interesting because me and my son one year both got our flu shots and ended up getting the flu and in the hospital super sick so 🤷🏻♀️
