If you press anywhere on your head/face that makes it worse? I have neuralgia (both nerves in head and face)…that’s what it feels like. Call neurology asap. So so sorry.

I also get trigeminal nerve pain I find the more i mess with it the worse it gets. I do gentle massage, heat or ice packs when I can and just try to calm myself down.

I hate it have both Occipital and Trigeminal Neuralgia the pain is horrific like being shocked then horrific Chiari headaches flare use Cool and heat compress see a good Neurologist they can test you.

Does it hurt to touch- feeling like your Face is being electrocuted? Trigeminal nerve pain.

YES!! Actually just YESTERDAY I got this same new pain in my upper cheek under my eye and along the left side of my head, went down to under my chin, only on the left side. The sun made it worse!

Mine usually shoot through the center of my brain and leaves me frozen for about a minute then I can move on. It scares bad so I sit with it awhile.

Yep!! I get this, along with occipital neuralgia, tension headaches, etc. I think it’s due to use tensing muscles and clenching our jaws, due to the pain we are already experiencing 🫠
