You could also use the same gasket that big trucks have on their oil pan no silicone. It’s a rubber gasket.

Out of the 10 or so upper oil pans I’ve done on these I have one that comes back every 6-8 months we’ve replaced upper oil pan 2-3 times now changed crank case filter and resealed it like 7-8 times…

Get the transmission head for the tranny jack and it’ll make it easy pulling those out
