I have 30 kits on my shelf, all panel lined with tamiya and no top coat. All are completely fine and none got brittle. Just gotta be careful with it

I personally recommend using Gundam pour type markers for panel lining because from my experience, they haven’t made any of my pieces become cracked or brittle

panel lining on the runner is insane. also you might wanna top coat before using a tamiya liner since it makes the plastic brittle over time.

Please use a topcoat or some sort of barrier before panel lining- Bandai plastic can be weak to it and if it gets into a crack and the solvent can’t dissolve it will destroy your pieces

flow type markers and thinner gave me ptsd, rg god gundam was my favorite and the first rg i purchased, the head cracked when i use them.

Flow type gundam marker are simply more rare than a living pope in Canada. Any other flow type marker that can be used with gunpla? Don't want to risk it with tamiya.
