I took a management role based on them training me. 0 training happened and it was awful. Lost so much faith in management actually caring about things.

yeah i was shoved to maintenance manager from maintenance engineer, worst promotion ever, got 0 training 100% responsibilities, also i have no engineer under me, and no foreman...just me and 10 worker

I quit my last job after they promoted me. I didn't want to be promoted. I just wanted to do my job, without taking care of others. The company had terrible communication skills. No one even asked me.
