So reassuring seeing someone that used AAPC because I’ve been wanting to start the course but have been hesitant! Did you take the pre req medical fundamentals?? I’m conflicted on whether I need it, I’ve worked in a hospital some and previously took an EMT course so unsure if I have enough experience to get by without taking that extra course

That’s awesome! Wish I had just done the course through AAPC but I went to a technical college in KY for 18 months back in 2011 & got my AA in Medical Billing and Coding..certified before graduating😅

I love hearing how everybody got into coding! I thankfully had my foot in the door already at our local hospital after being there for 14 years so as soon as a coding job opened I put in a transfer.
