What has helped me: I listen to an audiobook loudly with full headphones on! Beforehand I tell the nurse I’m nervous and going to look away and put in headphones - it works so well!

I faint every time. I can't do blood. ask for the butterfly needle and lay all the way back and don't get up right away. I still faint because I'm dramatic, but maybe it will help you.
