🔪 Ingredients: • 2 slices of bread (sourdough, white, wheat, whatever you got) • 1 ripe avocado • 3–4 strips of bacon • Salt (a pinch) • Black pepper (a pinch) • Red pepper flakes or hot sauce (optional) • Lemon or lime juice (optional but bomb) • Butter or oil (to toast bread) 🍳 Optional add-ons: • Fried egg • Tomato slices • Garlic powder • Everything bagel seasoning • Cheese (pepper jack or cheddar hits) ⸻ 🔥 Instructions: 1. Cook the bacon. • Heat a skillet over medium heat. • Lay bacon strips in the pan, don’t crowd. • Cook until crispy, about 4–6 min per side. • Set on paper towels to drain. 2. Toast the bread. • You can use a toaster, or butter each slice and pan-toast it until golden. 3. Mash the avocado. • Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop into a bowl. • Mash with a fork until smooth or chunky, however you like it. • Add a little salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon or lime (if using). 4. Assemble the toast/sandwich. • Spread avocado on toast. • Add the crispy bacon on top. • Sprinkle red pepper flakes, everything seasoning, or drizzle hot sauce if you like. • Add fried egg or tomato if you want to go crazy. 5. Eat it while it’s warm and crispy. • Fold it into a sandwich or leave it open-faced.
