I worry about this too. I only sleep for 2 hours at a time. Wake up, bathroom, then 2 more hours, repeat. I have REM maybe 30-45 mins. Constant fatigue and brain fog.

i have Muscular dystrophy in my family my mom,sister & aunt passed away from this then i have it my cousins & daughter mom was 58 im 52 😭😭🤬🤬🤬

I have severe insomnia and have gone 6 days without sleep and I was in bad shape and hallucinating. I cannot imagine this hell. That's terrible

Wow. I was living next to a train and didn’t get REM for 5 nights. I seriously felt my to live slipping away. And it happened fast. I can’t imagine the torture they must feel🥺

I went into psychosis in 2018 after going 96 hours without sleep. It was absolutely horrible

Oh my god. I don’t even sleep well and I can’t imagine. I would get my tubes tied and adopt, I couldn’t put a person through this intentionally. It’s terrifying and sounds like a very terrible death

I did my final project on this. FFI is terrifying because there’s no cure/treatment at all, and everyone knows that they won’t live forever but to know this and think of a future is extremely sad.
