accelera are decent cheap tyres...... I've run them on my own cars from 2.5v6 merc to a 2.5 straight 6 bmw up to my lil 1.5 dci vans.... never had an issue. was just unfortunate for your customer.

I wouldn't even consider that fair. That's just plain generous. I'd offer to mount and balance the new one for free but customer carries the cost of the tire.

Unfortunately that’s how people are, even after you explain to them the whole warranty process they still expect a free tire cause it’s always a manufacturer defect according to them. People don’t understand the tire is made out of rubber not cement.

Most don’t realize if you have to eat the price of that tire, if they bought a whole set you will have lost money or a wash the whole job. By the time the guys are paid, weights, and equipment used.
