I always asked my nurses how long their shift had been and then express my respect for how hard they work and still manage to have compassion. It catches them off guard that I see them as humans too💯

One of my favorite residents is 90 years old and when I was out sick recently she found me and hugged me when I got back and said she was worried about me. She prayed for me and gave me a big hug 😊

My rn job is in the nursing home 7-3 on the weekends. If I have nothing to do after work, I clock out & stay to help feed pts, shave the female pts, do nails etc. I will keep this job forever.🙏🥰❤️
