I let my mom read the first page of my book. It starts out with a very intense scene and she said it needed to be read alone because she was getting emotional. I was thrilled that I could do that with one page.

my mom is so honest and she tore my first book up (IN A GOOD WAY) and it was sooooo hard. but then when she read my third book she called me crying and it made THAT reaction so much sweeter
