I disagree, in every industry the cleaner would also be expected to tidy, change sheets, do laundry etc. I would not use a cleaning service that expected the client to do half the work.

If someone pays for a cleaner it’s because they can’t/ don’t have time to clean and tidy - that’s why you get paid. If u want to charge a premium do, but don’t complain about it 🤷♀️

My cleaner tidies up, I really appreciate it. I pay by the hour and she does what she needs doing ❤️I wouldn’t use a cleaner that didn’t tidy up!

I would class tidying as cleaning though. Maybe both party’s need to be more specific when it comes to expectations - as I would have expected tidying as part of the service

My cleaner has told me she’s there for 2 hours and will do anything. If there’s anything she’s unsure of she’ll pop it on the table or sofa. Even cleaned my oven bless her!

The whole point of a cleaner is to get the deeper cleaning done that we don’t have time to do. Not putting rubbish or washing away is plain lazy.

I disagree. My cleaner is amazing and always does a little tidying. She’s paid per hour so makes no Odd’s either way. She’s happy and I’m happy

Absolutely agree, I spend about 1.5 hours tidying before my cleaner so she can do her job, it not she would spend time just moving stuff around, more efficient I say
