@feared.texas: College Station, Texas at Motel 6 – On October 14th, 2024 — Officers responded to the 1600 block of Brentwood Dr for a stabbing that had just occurred. Officers located a victim and gathered information that the suspect had left the scene on foot. More information was gathered that the suspect was possibly in a room at Motel 6. The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for wounds sustained from the assault. Officers located the suspect inside a room at Motel 6 and began communication efforts for him to exit the room. The suspect refused to cooperate and barricaded himself inside the room. SWAT, Hostage Negotiation Team and K9 officers were called to the scene. HNT took over communication efforts to convince the suspect to exit the room. However, the suspect continued to refuse to exit. SWAT breached the window to the room which prompted the suspected to exit. He was taken into custody without further incident. During the standoff, the suspects daughter was briefly detained but later released after the arrest of the suspect.
