I try to make one straight path and hammer that path so it can be ripped in hope to save compaction the rest of the field

Make a path…every time…once harvest is done, put the ripper on and as long as it’s not super dry and hard, rip your paths before winter.👍🏼

We don’t necessarily have all the terraces, but the cart guy will take the same path on the end and then we’ll bring the in-line ripper across it

road, better for speed on cart and tires and most compaction happens on the first 2 passes so might as well make 100 passes over it. rip it after if compaction is a problem. the "road" is on a sprayer track usually

Road. Keep the compaction in one spot, keep it on the edges.

Same path everytime. Either run the vt tool over it afterwards or a ripper to loosen it back up. But we run a vt tool over all our corn ground every year after corn comes off.

We run on controlled traffic tramlines, so we typically run the the cart on a few tramlines through a 1/4

For potatoes the trucks create a main rd. We then take a ripper through to break up the rd
