I think it would’ve been 10x better to come at it with the angle of Chloe and Max not being able to deal with the trauma of killing a whole town. It’s realistic that they broke up but NOT for (1)

I think its just impossible to make spin off to LiS 1 which respects both endings fully that's why dontnod knew Max or Chloe couldnt be back as important characters in LiS.
