maaaaybe they should screen applicants better. people that are attracted to the power in jobs like that are not the ones who should be put into those positions in the first place.

Don’t underestimate the amount of stress & degradation brought home from work. No excuse; I think it could be more of a reason for LEO to pursue therapy to help process the work environment
