Waiting for my thyroidectomy. Surgeon is backed up 6 months so I’m scheduled for March 2025. I am both hypo and hyper thyroid. I have Hashimotos, Graves’ disease and Thyroid Eye Disease.

I have been there. You’re going to be weepy and have a sore throat for about a week, and then you’re actually going to start to feel better than before you had your thyroid removed! ❤️

Wow! It’s a good thing you had it removed. The effects from thyroid disease are horrible! I hate how some act like it’s all in your head or not a big deal. You have no clue until you live with it.

So true!! I didn’t realize just how toxic mine was until it was GONE. Many issues cleared up that I didn’t think were related. No guilt. Just freedom and finally getting off the damn rollercoaster!
