@harveyridesbikes: I want to use my socials for good. I thought a lot about not posting this. But if one person sees this and decides to head down there then that’s good enough for me. I felt pretty silly on the ride back home. I went with the expectation of smiles, fist bumps and to help lots of people. In reality I helped less than 5% of people there and as the guy said - “there’s not many people here”. It really put things into perspective and caught me off guard. But I suppose it’s better than nothing. When I was given a full bag of food from a restaurant I knew exactly where to take it. Multiple charities operate out of this space in London. Homeless people often gather to be given clothing, food, toiletries etc. If you ever have anything to give to the homeless, this is the spot. I would recommend contacting a charity so they can distribute items (i felt pretty overwhelmed).
