Our Acura MDX with the panoramic roof has a shade and it blocks out the sun completely I wonder why Mercedes doesn’t use something like that

yes. I love to have my moonroof open but I hate that I forget to close the shade. so now I get the glass tinted. you can enjoy it on very bright days.

Factory Warranty will void the roof glass if it shatters with tint. Call Insurance. Is what I have always been told.

I tinted the sunroof in my last two pano-roof cars. My current one, especially, bc of the tan interior and sunshade. Works wonders! Still hotter than my car with no sunroof, but it’s worth it. 🥰

Love this! I always like my sunroof tinted, a lot of tint guys will tell you they can’t do it but obviously that’s not true! Makes a huge difference in the summer too with the heat

I always tint the sunroof in my cars. It’s amazing how it cuts the glare down but still lets light in. Perfect world.

I mean if Mercedes made a proper shade this wouldn’t be an issue. Tons of automotive manufacturers make proper pano shades. I’ve noticed a lot of German brands do this see-through mesh effect its dumb

I have put 5% ceramic tint on the sunroof of every car I’ve ever leased along with normal window tint all around. It makes the feature so much more usable with the sunshade open all year long.
