They actually talked this thru. I know they did. They wanted her there cuz they prolly lied to people saying OP gave her blessing when she in fact did not, ofc, as u all said. But just inviting her would give OP the option to wear red & humiliate them. So they said we’ll make her part of the wedding party so OP can’t wear red or white & embarrass them. They prolly also think they can keep her from making a toast. They just wanted her there to show OP gave her blessing.
