it depends on the person’s preferred coping style pretty much. like i wouldn’t delete anything even tho i rarely actually look into it. i like the comfort of knowing •its still there• so at most i’d just move it to archived. for some, delete is how they let go. most often it’s really not about you, but rather for themselves. its sad in a way, but don’t take it too personally. and altho they physically deleted it, doesn’t mean that they forget or that the memories hold less value. If it’s really mean something, it will always be in the heart, and thats’s pretty much enough for me.
