I had a 72 with 350 high performance. blew it up when a very rusty frost plug behind the starter developed a hole in it on a long ride.

I had a 71, was even more basic, 6 cyl 250 3 on the tree, no options did have front disk non power.

That's awesome. 71 were optional disc and 72 became all disc. 71 is the only year for the disc decal. that radio delete with dealer added air is an odd combo

My father still owns his he bought new in 71. 2wd, long box, 350/350, tilt, factoryAC, AM/FM radio, factory tach. Blue and white and we still drive it once in a while.
