At 15 wanted 2. At early 20s (single) wanted 1. Now at 29 (married) I want none. Being able to see a more realistic picture of what motherhood would be like, is not a minor choice.

We can want both. The problem is that most people in general can agree being able to take care of yourself and achieving more than one life goal is more important than outright struggling with just 1.
