Think we are going to end up skipping over that entire generation. The future will be swarm drones, big and small. They move quick, are cheap, and can overwhelm pretty much any defense.

for robots to become advance enough to replace humans at a human thinking and creativity might be just metal humans that can be hacked. cyborgs though what about them?

Thanks for the reply. Lots of interesting ideas for writers. But for meat grinder battles, I think robots are taking the fight to the enemy.

i can see specialized units being puppeted for versatility but i dont think it will be fully robotic
