Our furbaby, Mappy, is currently suffering from Ehrlichia, Leptospirosis, and Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA) where the body’s immune system destroys its own red blood cells. Initially, Mappy was only diagnosed with Ehrlichia that triggered IMHA. However, as his immune system weakened, another sickness (Leptospirosis) manifested. Because of this, our Mappy underwent another Blood Transfusion for the second time, which costed PHP25k for 2 bags of blood. He is also currently confined, undergoing tests like CBC and Blood Chem, plus other medications and even an Epoetin Alfa shot to push his body to produce more red blood cells. He is also on a lot of other medications. At the moment, our overall total expenses since he was diagnosed last June 26 is around PHP100k (blood transfusions, tests, medicines, checkups, etc.) so any amount would be greatly appreciated for his continuous medication.
