Star wars addresses the language barrier! That's the reason protocol droids exist! Plus characters like Reven from KOTOR canonically just know many languages. Though it's less mentioned in new stuff.

I’m sort of happy I went with a fast-evolving hive-like xeno species instead of something we might consider sapient. There’s a lot to think about with adding new cultures or societies. Great video 👍
