I cut me a piece of expandable metal grate the size of my bottom of Dutch oven wrap in non stick foil and it doesn’t burn are stick to bottom

Bruce, I use about 8 pieces of charcoal underneath the Dutch oven. Takes a few minute more but worth it. Get you some real maple syrup..half dozen pokes in the top of each biscuit..brush on that syrup
