"Can I lose my salvation" is probably the most concerning issue there is. But is it true? The Apostle Paul states time and time again that we are saved by "Grace through faith" and that it is a gift from God. "It is not about the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy". The issue is we didn't "earn" our salvation in the first place, it is a GIFT. So how can you lose something you didn't contribute to in the first place, or how do you maintain a gift?? A gift is something freely given for which the giver does not expect something in return. And a conditional gift isn't really a gift. Paul said also that "no flesh will be justified by the works of the law". Therefore the basis of salvation is not rooted in anything we do, it is of God. And the real problem with works based salvation is "what do you mean by works"? Also how much "work is required", what constitutes a work in God's eyes. How would you know you have ever done enough. This is the exact problem the Jews had as they were trying to earn their salvation by being Righteous. We are saved by Grace through Faith the bible is crystal clear on this point.

Christians will still Sin, if we have say we have no sin then the truth is not in us. If God always, provides a way out of temptation for all Christians, we would never sin again but we do. The Lords Prayer says "Forgive us our trespasses", because we do sin. I wish I never yielded to temptation, but sometimes I do. Then comes the self loathing!!!!
