Never give up ❤️‍🩹🏥🤟🏼 Kicked number 23 procedure ass! This last procedure has been harder to recover from as I waited 1O months vs my regular 6 months to be treated. But I’m thankfully to start feeling more like myself 🥰 Thank you always for my family, friends, medical team, and community for being so incredibly supportive. I love you all so very much! During my battle with my chronic health many dreams have died while at the same time many new dreams have been born in the process, for that I am incredibly thankful 🙏🏼 My health journey includes treating my interstitial cystitis (chronic painful bladder syndrome) with hunner’s lesions. Removal of endometriosis. Treating ovarian cyst complications; cyst fluid left in my body for a month following rupture and further removal of a large ovarian cyst causing ovarian torsion. Removal of my appendix and gallbladder; both at different times as they both began to rot. Removal of kidney stones which had become stuck in my urethra. Treatment of my pundendal neuralgia. Having a growing list of chronic conditions including dysautonomia, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, ehlers-danlos syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, hypertonic pelvic floor, pelvic floor dysfunction, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease-ulcerative colitis, hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse, atrial septal defect; congenital heart defect, and at a time pericardial effusion which has to be checked on. I have gained 20 pounds after being at my lowest weight but continue to struggle to gain or maintain my weight due to the illnesses. I have undergone multiple different treatments, therapies, and lifestyle changes both invasive and non over the years. I have benefited from some and came steps closer to remission, while others hindered or worsened my progress. There have been times I have been close to losing my life. I now suffer from PTSD due to all the trauma. But I will never stop fighting for the moments in life which bring me joy. I’m truly proud of all that I have overcome. For those who are fighting their own battle please keep going and know you are not alone. The world is a better place with you in it. Reminder to all to never judge a book by its cover. You never know what someone is going through. Be kind ✨ Always, so much love, empathy, and support. xo. #chronicillness #chronicpain #hospital #stretching #surgery #fyp #flexibility
