as a fellow puppy girl, this is completely ok. any coping mechanism can become unhealthy if it gets in the way of you doing important things, so as long as you're balancing your relaxation time with your responsibilities you're good :) also I relate to you a lot, it's a comfort thing for me too and it's never been seggsual for me.
