When you come back from NYC or the Paris metro the tube in London is first class! Especially the new lines! The older lines are dirty but it’s def more civilised

The tube is a million times better than any other countries (biased fine but) that's because we are decades ahead. Ours is the oldest in the world and had more time to practice. No it's not perfect

99.99% of people are so polite on the tube. Everyone notices the occasional rude person but the number who queue properly, who help with bags, who stand on the right side of escalators, is INCREDIBLE.

a friend of mine says .. in terms of cleanliness, what the NY subway is to London tube.. is the same as the London tube to Japan metro. bottom line.. everything is relative. appreciate what you have.
