I didn’t interpret it as race…I interpreted it as nationality. There’s a difference. Japanese businessmen have a notoriously toxic work culture, especially when it comes to business dinners and drinking. I didn’t think you were saying “they were Asian” — it was more like “they were Saudi Arabian royalty” or “they were Russian politicians.”
