their biggest thing seems to be running locally on device but they’re already moving in the direction of inference on cloud servers so maybe this is the next step for siri as well, an “enhanced” siri

Siri can’t do most things when it comes to home automation, why? Because they’ve created a stonewall around their ecosystem and most smart home devices don’t even work with it. What a push off answer.
