I’ve cancelled home internet twice w/ the largest provider in Canada. I learned to say “I hate your service so much, I’ll never have it again as long as I live.” That gets you past their script 👍🏻

While I imagine it doesn't help in the moment, these reps are probably as annoyed as you are. Sales are a huge part of metrics for some customer service agents, so they are *required* to do everything

that's when you go to your bank and tell them to block/terminate all transactions between your account and the company. did that with my gym membership when they wouldn't let me cancel
