@mummyandherthree.autism: Stimming is so important to Oliver, he does it all throughout the day, continuously. I am so used to it, that it's just become a part of my day to hear it and see it. However, even though I have seen it daily for years now, it still makes me smile seeing his happy stims when he is enjoying an activity. There is something that's beautiful about it, he is nonverbal so isn't able to tell me if he is enjoying something in your typical way, his stimming tells me. He could not stop his happy stims and smiles on this wall down a beach and I loved it. He was looking all around him, stomping, hand flapping, brushing his shoes into the sand and watching the water. #autism #autistic #nonverbal #nonspeaking #autismacceptance #autismawareness #nonverbalcommunication #autismparenting
