I can see this working, at least better than using that glue to secure an entire press-on nail. Simply because the two halves are uneven & have jaged edges for the glue to grip without sliding around before it dries and sets!…. HOWEVER….. You need to buff or (preferably) use an emery board to scratch up the surface of your nailbed AND the press-on nail as well!!! Do this BEFORE applying any glue! Your real nail and especially the fake/false/press-on nail are both slick surfaces!! Scratching them up a bit gives the glue a place to settle and grip.
