My biggest takeaway from this video was the word “sillily”. Thank you

This made me realize I should start setting timers for myself to do chores, either to race the timer or to have a guaranteed quit time I can look forward to

My daughter sometimes just needs help. She won’t ask, she’ll use excuses like “I’m exhausted” or that it’s too hard. She’s 5, we just have her pick up the toys, nothing major.

My favorite one (that still works so far) is competition. “I bet I can pick up more toys than you!” “I bet this timer will go off before you finish!”

Maybe I should ask my husband to do this for me, a 29 year old with no concept of time 😂

I’ve always said, just start somewhere, start putting stuff away, the mess will go away. Works for my 4 y/o

So this is probably some type of child abuse but my SIL just told her kids the more messy their room is the more places bugs and mice can hide 😐

I’m trying with my teen but she will call me cringe like everyday so I’m ready to try because she made me immune I hope
