i did car body repair at collage but left the trade as soon as i passed not done it in over 10 years but typically with rear end crash it pushes everything up so u need to push it back down

stop messing with it, get your money back. the only way to fix that is drilling g out the welds and replacing the full back peice

Ratchet strap on the catch then wrapped round the back seats then ratchet it as you add heat, make sure you put the strap at the top of the seats

bolt a slide hammer to the lock plate and tug it out . then use it to tug the rest of the damage out as far as poss.
