Space weather app tracks everything you mentioned. It affects HAM radio that’s why I check it. But it alerts solar flairs and cme’s too

how do we know this information about how hot it is? I get the solar maximum and aurora as seen them and effects with own eyes. But who went to the sun and stuck a probe in it??? how do we actually know???
