The unfortunate truth is that people who can get away with building massive glutes without tracking their nutrition are just genetically blessed. Most people are not in this category and will not achieve the considerable amount of growth they want by eating intuitively. Train hard all you want — follow a program all you want — you’re leaving your sessions up to chance without tracking your macronutrient intake .  1. YOU DONT NEED TO SQUEEZE YOUR GLUTES — We hear this all the time — “squeeze your glutes at the top” … The truth is that stretching through your movement will illicit more glute growth than contraction. More and more research is showing that more muscle fibers in the glutes are recruited in the stretched position - prioritize movements like deep squats, deep leg press, RDLs, lunges, split squats , good mornings. Contract through the stretch but don’t fixate over the squeeze.  1. YOUR INTENSITY MATTERS THE MOST. Your glutes DO NOT CARE about your perfectly coordinated split. Your intensity when you train matters much more than your split when it comes to hypertrophy. STOP over-fixating on sets per week , volume per week, etc. Train your glutes 2-3 x / week. Do the same shit over again. And just train hard. You could have the perfect nutrition, split, & exercise selection but If this isn’t met with training intensity all of this means nothing.
