The detail around the alien encounter was some snowmobilers came across the alien being in the snow. It was not fully frozen and there was a strong smell coming from the being. They didnt want to touch it out of fear of disease etc. So they had to pass a cable or a rope under the arms of the alien being, to be able to lift it without touching it.
