hi hvac dispatcher here. unless it's first call 8am or 7am it's IMPOSSIBLE to guess how long a repair will take before you. idk how people don't get this.

we had a surprise maitinence inspection on HALLOWEEN and only got notified 12 hours before hand. legal in Wisconsin. "between 9am-4pm" kick rocks 🙃

I've have maintance done at my place countless times since I moved in, I work late afternoon/night shift, I have pretty much from 9am-4pm they always show up at the last minute

I get it but it’s not a specific time because the techs pick what they do based on the places they have to go. The amount of times I got yelled at for not having an accurate time is insane

they told me maintenance would call me. maintenance never did and instead i woke up to the sound of a random man in my apt at 10. i was 19. lived alone. first night in a city 2 hrs away from home 😭😭

I think they should trackers like they do for packages. I get they might take longer at a job due to issues, but at least communicate some. it's worse when they claim they tried you but obv didn't.

I work for a termite company & give 2 hr time windows. people complain about that but I can't predict when the tech will be there besides between 11 and 1 bruh 😭😂
